 Ways to build your Taha-Wairua. 

To build your Taha Wairua (spiritual well being) you can pray every morning. Give thanks to god for waking you up, Maybe ask god to bless your day, keep your family safe, and that no one gets hurt.

Singing spiritual songs with your siblings, can help lighten up the mood, makes you feel better and sometimes can inspire you to do good things later in that day. spiritual songs can also be another way of prayer.

Complementing your siblings or people when they feel down. Sometimes you can sense when people are sad or feeling a bit down, and sometimes you can see it by their actions. Either way, complementing them or making them feel better by cheering them up is another way.

These are several ways to build your Taha Wairua (spiritual well being)

FIAFIA 2021

 

Yesterday we had FIAFIA, 2 thousand + people showed up to watch our perforamnces. The group I performed in was Kapa Haka because I am maori, we were the first group to perform, I was happy and excited to kick of the night with a Bang!!. My favourite item was the Tongan Boys, because it was hyped and was really fun, also i liked the little moves they did at the end, EVERYONE was cheering. 

Also this was my last ever FIAFIA, so im glad this was the best one ive participated in. I would like to thank the staff members for making this possible, and to the coachers for teaching us, you taught as well. For the other genarations coming in, do your best and make your family proud.

The Great Moa

 

Today we had to read a story about the great moa, and then answer some questions about the story.

The abondoned bush walks

We were walking through a forest looking area when this happened, we didn’t know what it was. Hi im kahurangi but you can call me kahu, and this is my friend Rae Jae but you can call him RJ or Rae if you want.


It was a normal day, and we decided to go check out the old abandoned bush walks. We knew it would be scary but we thought it would be fun, and interesting. We gathered everything we thought we needed and set off, it was a bit of a walk before we got to the bush walks, and we had to sneak in because there were road works going on.


When we got there we sneakily climbed over the red tape and slowly disappeared into the darkness of the trees. When we felt like we were out of the public's view we sat down and had a drink of water, Looking around the wind started to pick up, and the leaves on the ground were getting blown everywhere, including our faces.


We set off further down the bush walk, when we started hearing weird noises coming from behind us, But when we looked behind us nothing was there. Telling ourselves it was the wind, we carried on. But the noises continued to annoy us, we looked behind us again, and there was a black figure we could see in the distance. We ran but it seemed to chase us.


We panicked and ran of course, we ducked behind a bush of bushes, and caught our breath, then began to run again. This black figure was very fast, and it was slowly catching up to us. Slowly but surely we got caught, but it wasn't an alien, it was a security guard, and he escorted us out.


By the time we got out, a cop car was there waiting, He took us home and we got in trouble. We got grounded for 5 weeks, and had to do every single chore in the house. We tried making excuses but they didn’t work.

Title	Will be explaining how to be a good child.
Introduction	There are many ways to be a good child, from listening and respecting your parents, to cleaning the house. These are some good ways to be a good child.
Information 1st Reason S E E	Respecting your parents is very important because they are the people who supply you with food and a roof over your head. Respect is very important in everyday tasks. Showing respect to all is a good habit and life skill. No respect, no rewards.
Information 2nd Reason S E E	Listening is doing what you're told. Listening to your parents, teachers and other adults if being asked to do something. If you don’t listen to your parents then you might not get those hot wheel cars, or PS5 games. But if you do then you will get those cars or games.
Information 3rd Reason S E E	Cleaning is a great way to keep you and your house clean. If you tidy up things around your house without being asked, then it will help your parents a lot if they have other things to do. Not only around the house, at school, in the shopping malls. Picking up rubbish will help our planet and our environment.
Conclusion	So these are some good ways to be a better child. If you do these simple things then you could help out a lot around the house, school and in public. If you use these 3 steps then your parents might buy that PS5 game as a reward.

One day an adorable treasure named Spongbob found an oddly shaped broom. 

Curious to find out what this thing was, he looked at a globe for a place that might know what it was. 

When he got on the plane he fell over leaving a bruised mark on his legs and shoulder, Because of these bruising’s paramedics had to take him to hospital on the next stop.

 When paramedics arrived they took Spongebob and his broom to the hospital to check out his bruises. 

Luckily the lady checking out spongebob’s bruises said  “Hey, i have one off those at home”  And spongebob said “Oh, cool, what is this”, Then the lady said “ITs an ilsander broom”.

 

When the check up was done, spongebob left happy, hopping on the plane excited to show garry (his pet snail) his knew broom, and show off to patrick and squid ward.

What T could do in a sad situation

T could talk with Jake and let all his emotions out, I think telling Jack would be the best thing to do because he is his best friend. Another way is maybe buying something to take his mind off it, like a game or sleep could help. T could go to a therapist or a police officer, these people could help you talk about your emotions and how to deal with them, they will also give you advice on what to do when you're in a sad situation.

My highlight from Yr7 step up programe

Last week it was the Yr7 step up programe well the Yr8s were at camp.....
My highight was finding out my team and teamleaders, because finding out lots of people wernt my usual friends ment i could get to know them and we can work together, also seeing Mohhamed as a leader was good he stepped up big time he normally would'nt be in a roll, so he really steped out of his confert zone and did well, and Nina "well she was already a leader".....Looking forward for the camp next yeaer:)

Budget Planet of the apes

One day an ape was going about his business. When he noticed a security guard had fallen over, without thinking he ran towards the guard wondering what had happened, To be surprised by the sight of a fire rifle. The ape picked the rifle up pulling the trigger and killing the guard, Dropping the gun the ape noticed a shining set of keys in the guards pocket, The ape picks the keys up and hesitantly walked towards the gate were the lock was, he slowly push the key in and turned it “Click” click went the lock echoing everywhere waking others. When the gate opens it creeks giving a loud noise alerting the other guards. But? It was too late the apes had escaped slowly and surely gaining power to learn how to steal and fight.The next day the apes had taken over town making people angry at the zoo they had been kept in. As they took over town by town they also went zoo to zoo releasing their fellow ape friends and family and overpowering the humans and slowly taking over the world.

Joseph Parker At Assembly :0

Today we went to assembly to find Joseph Parker sitting up front. We had a normal assembly karakia, mihi, waiata then Mr Burt introduced us to him “well introduced him to us”. Then he said thanks for having me here and if you have a goal go for it you should always believe in yourself, also he said Nothing beats hard work then he said god bless have, a good day, Of course he said more but you want to hear the good parts. Then we went on with our normal assembly lunch box heroes, Duffy certificates and the rest.

Mr Burt/The best

Today we had a fun surprise for our principal/MR Burt hearing that he had been awarded with and award from the queen we thought it'll be a good idea to perform 2 songs and a haka for him. It was a normal assembly until Pisirina starting congratulating Mr Burt then we got ready. Next Aj said a prea Freedom did too then we heard the gutair strum we stood up and sang UfiUfi. Then the school stood up and we sang Ka waiata, After this song the boys would stay standing and do the haka to show Mr Burt how thankful we were for his efforts towards our school, community, Nz schools.

I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Burt for teaching my mum we she went to this school and now me. He has been awarded of Nz order off merit. i'm so proud of him because I've been here since year 1 congrats and keep going.

My invention 2

Task description:Today i did a writing task and this task was part 2 of my invention.On this task i went through the stages on building my invention and i also made a advertisement/poster.I also wrote a couple benefits on it and 4 reasons why someone would take on my invention as a business opportunity.
