We had to find a simple sentence and highlight it yellow. Next we had to find a compound sentence and highlight it green.
One lovely day a old man decided to go for a walk. He went to the pathway to find out that it was overgrown with weeds. Back in the days it was a nice bush walk but now it is just a old muddy overgrown bush. There is rubbish everywhere in the creek down the back. The creek is yuck it used to be a nice flowing creek with lots and lots of eels.
I liked the way you described what the creek used to be like. Now I feel sad that a lovely bush walk has turned into a yukky place to walk. I wonder what could happen next in this story.
