Dear future campers. Camp Bentzon is a place you will be calling home for the next few days, This camp is the best camp you will have on being a year 6. This is a place with wildlife so we got to be respectful because the weka there will eat the rubbish and die. When you go swimming you got to be aware that there could be stingray so if you leave them alone they will do you no harm. Another thing just do no graffiti because that is just wrong.in this paragraph i will be showing 5 top tips for camp so you can have a better time.

My first tip for you is about the ferry when you are on the ferry you have to sit down at all times hold your hats and keep your arms inside the rail because if your hat falls no ones going to get it for you? When you go on the ferry you must not run around because you could bump into a person of the [public that are on there.

My second tip is about the morning when you wake in the morning you have to try not to make any noise because if you make loud noises before the trumpet goes off then you will have to sit outside on the grass no matter what your wearing. When you wake in the morning roll over and go back to sleep because you will get woken up by a loud trumpet why because Mr Somervile will be up at 5:30 stay sleepy?.

My third tip is about eating when you go to eat you should have your water battle because you won't have a drink. Also when you go to eat you must have footwear on because they said so. If you want to have food first you gotta be the best group no shouting and no hitting cutlery. Also grab things that you are going to eat and don’t be greedy.

My fourth tip is about killer hill when you are going up you have to what your step or else you might hurt yourself when your going up make sure you have also when you are going down they say your “bum is your brake” that means when you run down and
your going so fast that you can’t stop you have to jump on you bum so it will slow you down.


And my final tip is about camp itself have fun try your best to be good and when you are asked to do something do so you won't have to be told of. Also respect the p-lace have a good time and enjoy try everything because not every gets to do the staff you are going to do.

This term we learnt about the rocky shore and right here i will be telling you some facts and my favourite part of this terms learning experience.
Did you no that the pea crab is the smallest crab in the world
also did you no there are the  supratidal zone, intertidal zone, and the subtidal zone. these area represent the sections sections in the rocky shore.
now my favourite thing about this year is that how we got to to research about animals and make were the live how they live what they eat and  what eats them also we got to make multiple presentations .
also another favourite time of this term was  when we got to cut out the animals and got to figure out were they  went on the paper in the different sections of the water.

When I finished the book i got up and ask to go to the toilet. When i got to the toilet i felt embarrassed of my self i had not read in front of an audience like that I head back to the class to find out we were finished. My friends they were looking for me when they saw me they ran and said you were amazing you sure are good at reading yeah you should be in a contest. That was embarrassing I don't now what to do it is alright to come and play with as.




We were playing and then a girl came up and started mocking me about reading the book out loud for the class my freind stuck up for me they said what at least she did it you have not done it so you can not say anything. The girl ran of you suck we said back go away the asked me if i was alright THE END.

REPORT Rocky shore

Walt: Paraphrase and summarise information.

The rocky shore is a habitat in the intertidal zone among the common New Zealand coasts. The rocky shore has many different zones that go by the name of Splash zone, intertidal zone, and subtidal zone. It also has a number of organisms that live in and out of the water, amongst the different zones.


The supratidal zone as we know it splash zone is a zone that sits above the intertidal zone.
The supratidal zone has many different organisms that live amongst it is also called the splash zone because the waves break upon the rocks

Intertidal zone the intertidal zone has three different parts high tide, middle tide, and low tide. There are lots of creatures like maybe mussels, oysters.
This zone is covered by air at low tide and is covered with sea water at high tide.

The subtidal zone is the lowest zone that means no matter what the ground will always be covered when it is low tide so the creatures maybe like lobsters/crayfish will be covered

The rocky shore is a civilization among the New Zealand coast lines for sea creatures like crabs, muscles, and oysters. The rocky shore has many different zones including Supratidal zone/ splash zone also subtidal/ sublioral and intertidal wichis high tide, low tide, middle tide In one plants can also grow in these places. The rocky shore is a great place to visit and fun to when tha waves crash on the rocks and spray you with water just one thing when rocks are wet they can be dangerous because they get very slippery i recommend to bring a sandwich down get sprayed with water drop your sandwich in the water then go home hungry.

Fortnite is the best game in the world there is season 8 it is the best season i hope i get a ps4 so i can play it  but i don't so sad, when ever i play fortnite i ask people if they want to vs me in a build battle but they say no i think it is because they don’t want to lose to me because i am the king at fortnite. If someone wants to vs me my name is east gamingpro on fortnite no spaces or capitals I personally think fortnite is cool because I just like playing challenging other people that play, seeing a lot of different skins and dance moves . I am so good at this game that I even beat the best player in the world NINJA My favourite emote is dance moves, like dun dun dun BOOP den dun dun dun dun” so cool! I only died like 3 or 10 times and that's all. I have over 1000 wins in the game  and my favourite fortnite youtuber is obviously tfue.  I beat lots of twitch people on fortnite. That's why i think im so good. I beat about 200 twitch streamers, like I’m really good. Then i was in  match with NINJA we were playing playground mode. We were doing a building consents NINJA And  TFUE was having a big battel.NINJA was winning but then TFUE started building up his game then TFUE.won the end.

The beautiful ocean has a turquoise colour that goes to a  point where it stops and goes dark. This beautiful ocean goes as far as the eye can see.

The waves are crashing against the  beautiful sand that is gold ish, and white ish,. The sand is sparkly at a distance as well as the water is to.

The sky looks over this beautiful piece of scenery the sky is light blue and the clouds look as soft as candy floss.

AS the water sits there getting pushed around by the waves the boats speed  around on the water splashing everywhere.

Year 5/6 Camp 2019

Kiaoro on wednesday  the sixth of  march we had a year five and six camp. This camp was fun i cant what to tell you my story carry on down then that's where you will find it.OH also enjoy and remember to leave me a comment on my blog ‘’and mind the big task going of the side of my page’’.

At camp it was really awesome  i would like to give a big shout to my group for being a good help for me when i was leading, and thank you to brending for being a good role model and acting like he was a leader, also a shout out to eva for helping lead as well. One of my favorite games where kayaking because people were falling out of there boats, and also because i heard that when Oalli and Taliyah were kayaking Taliyah fell out the boat and  Oalli kept paddling when Taliyah was trying to get back on the kayak. THe name of my group is Tama fiafia if you are wondering what that means it means happy children, The teacher of my group is the beautiful miss O'connell she was a really big help for the team organizing everything.another game is slip and slide it was really cool because it was a really hot day.

Even all the highlight don't change my mind about psyclone ball i mean it is so cool you should try it,it was funny because people were falling of the bikes but?it was hot,yep it was hot  of my highlights were vs Miss O'connell at ping pong it was amazing because that was like around the 3 time i played ping pong, also a funny thing she said she was a pro you know,’’ i'm starting to think she was lying i know teachers dont lie but is that true?’’.WE were all playing ping pong playing on the scooters and skateboards. Then we went to the market for the next activity.

Then we found out the our next game it was really cool it was dun dun dunnnnnnnn? It was was was camp concert yes yeah woohoo,. When we got  on the stage we did our best because we all wanted to win then we finished our dance we all were puffed out of breath then we got in a circle and said our chant our chant was ‘’hohoho are we we are repers from pe tama fiafia will try their best but we are better than all the rest’’. Then we found out who came first and we won..?/?

I would like to thank mr Burt for making this happen and thank you to the stuff mum’s and dad’s that came and helped out. Also a big thank you to the people who cooked the food it was yummy. Also thank you to the who made the games they were really fun because they involved flicking rubber bands and eating healthy snacks”wink wink” and because they had swimming..??

I hope in the future i get to help out this camp for my child when i grow up and that my child could be a camp leader and follow….

Keyhole Narrative

One night a father and son were having dinner when they heard strange knocks and noises around the doorstep. The father went to have a look at who was there the dad was scared so he had a little hole in his door it was called a peephole he had a look through the hole and seen nothing he looked a little bit more than he seen something in the distance. He said “son run through the backdoor and get in the car now” the father ran with him. The father was weak but he looks strong because he is stocky and tall the son is tall as well but he is strong there is a little bit of a difference between them the father's name is bill and the sons name is timethy after they got in there car they saw the monster like thing lurking in the distance they were scared so bill started the car slowly the monster like thing heard the car then he started to charge at them they drove of in a hurry the didn't know what to do `. It had gotten morning by the time they reached the south island timethy was asleep but bill was not tired he was still thinking about the monster like thing he was thinking also about calling the police. When he did call the police the checked there rader and they were like this is a an identified object it was like nothing they have seen even they were scared cause it was super big and it had hud thighs and arms they were so scared that they had to call the army the responded in away that no one thought they would responded in they said “we will take the monster on no problemo. The police and bill thought they were going to be scared but they were wrong bill was really happy that he had the airforce with him and a day later the police said that they had his back to. When timothy woke up from his deep sleep he had forgotten about the monster in there house bill said morning son how was your sleep did you dream about something timothy said no but what are we doing in the cr in the middle of the forest well it looks like the forest i dont no but what we doing in the car you tell me remember there was the monster lurking in the distance timothy said oh yeah is he gone cause i want to go home now can please yes yes son we are going because the police and air force is following as timothy said yeaha unless we know we are safe bill said you don't know that right know there could be several there but we only seen one that's why i asks for backup ok so we will stop at a shop and see if we can get a feed ok just be patient timothy said ok but hurry my stomach is rumbling after a while they found out that the next mcdonalds or fish in chip shop was not to 2 hour away timothy remembered that he keeps a stash of burgers in a secret hot grill area he was stoked that he had remembered one good thing ……?????
