About Waitangi day

WALT: use the structure of a recount to write about a Waitangi day  highlight.

Yesterday on waitangi day we went out and went some were for the day.At first we got ready for the day ahead of us. ass we were getting ready i was making up songs and battling my dad at rap battles, sadly i WON ‘well so i think .Next we went to the car and buckled the babies in. Then there we were of to G.I. so we could get my newborn baby sisters Jabs done. Well my and baby sister and mum were inside the doctors my dad my other sister and I went for a walk.After that we went for a ride to my papa's house, know it was really good to see him because he ass recently recovered surgery after having a stroke. So he was still up and going, i think he is like around the age of 67 or 66 maybe. Then we went out on to the porch to have a talk and see how each other were.Overall i had a amazing day of kind and happiness throughout the day. It was also good to see my papa because i haven't seen him in ages….???
