You've done an awesome job on these slides! You really smashed those ratio questions which is fantastic. The only ones you need to check are the fractions. Remember, if I cut a cake into four pieces, they are called 1/4 or quarters. If I have 2 of those pieces I have 2/4. Then 1/4 + 2/4 = 3/4. The denominator (bottom number) just tells us the size of the pieces, so we don't add denominators together. If the denominators aren't the same we have to find equivalent fractions. I know that 2/4 is the same as 1/2. So to solve 1/2 + 1/4, I change the one half and instead add 2/4 + 1/4 = 3/4.
